The aseptic packages are those into which the product is poured under sterile conditions after having been previously sterilized. For carton packaging, the disinfection of the aseptic packaging is done using hydrogen peroxide (oxygenated water) using two application systems: immersion bath technology and spraying technology.
Both methods show specific requirements regarding the product stability and the generation of packaging residue, as result of which there are different lines of products for each of the two systems.
In Quimidroga as partner and distributor of Arkema, we have the range of products VALSTERANE ®: stabilized hydrogen peroxide approved by most aseptic machine manufacturers both for immersion bath (Tetrapack) and spraying application (Combibloc).
By now we add to the VALSTERANE ® 35 B (hydrogen peroxide for disinfection by immersion bath) and the VALSTERANE ® 35S Spray Ultra (hydrogen peroxide for disinfection by spraying), the VALSTERANE ® 35S-HP, the “Best-in-class” product for the disinfection of the aseptic packaging with spray.
The VALSTERANE ® 35S-HP is a 35% hydrogen peroxide with excellent performance regarding the residue reduction for the disinfection of the aseptic packaging with spray. There is no doubt that it is a product that will satisfy the demanding requirements of the food industry.
