Vanillin is the aromatic component par excellence of the hundreds of vanilla components. More of 80% of the vanillin production worldwide is obtained from the guaiacol and catechol present in petroleum derivatives. This fact makes the vanillin a less sustainable product. In an increasingly environmentally-conscious market place, it is more important than ever to find natural and sustainable alternatives.
Quimidroga is the distributor for the Iberian Peninsula of the vanillin from Borregard, a Norwegian company dedicated to obtaining various products of interest from the spruce wood, a kind of tree replanted by themselves. The vanillin ex-lignin is obtained from these trees and is the basis for the production of the mixtures (PLUS and BORREBON) and of the vanillin GRAN.

EuroVanillin GRAN is a 100% natural flavour which is a good alternative to the vanillin obtained from the vanilla orchid (much scarcer).
EuroVanillin BORREBON: Perfect sustainable aromatic mixture that emulates the flavour of the Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar at a cheaper price.
EuroVanillin Plus SB18: vanillin of sustainable European origin, obtained from Supreme vanillin (ex-lignin), with the same intensity as those from petroleum derivatives (ex-guaiacol).
Its creamy, pure and smooth vanillin profile makes it perfect for low-cost applications.
EuroVanillin AGBA: Sustainable mixture of vanillin and benzoic acid. The product solubility is improved thanks to that. Specially designed for industrial use (incense sticks). Its intensity is 30% superior to that of conventional vanillin.
