Chemicals and Additives for Mining

The raw materials for Mining in our portfolio are additives that enable to separate the waste and to concentrate the maximum purity of the extracted minerals.

Therefore, our range of flotation reagents, whether for metallic mining, polymetallic mining, potash, coal and derivatives, feldspar or silica and clays, is composed of all types of references with the capacity to provide the different specific functionalities of each production within that process.

We have many available products going from hydrophobisers or collectors reducing the wettability of the surface of the mineral particles, to different modifiers, whether activators, depressants or medium regulators; passing through the foaming reagents capable of stabilising the aerial bubbles and the flotation foam, the grinding additives and the different zinc sulphates and copper sulphates, among others.

Applications of chemicals and additives for Mining

The chemical additives intended to the mining industry and distributed by Quimidroga are used in the different flotation processes in the extraction of minerals. These resulting minerals are mostly used as raw materials in the construction and ceramics sector.
