For some years now, at Quimidroga we have been committed to those issues arising from our business activity related to sustainability: health and safety, environmental protection, the defence of human rights, the search for efficient resources and compliance with legislation.

 

This commitment to sustainability extends beyond our business operations, taking into consideration the effects of our activities on society and the environment.

 

Sustainability is at the core of our business philosophy, understood as the commitment to share our knowledge and resources along the supply chain, while creating and helping to contribute to the development of sustainable solutions, involving our suppliers, reducing CO2 emissions related to the life cycle of the products, with the aim of minimising the environmental impacts of our activity.

 

Quimidroga's commitment to sustainability goes beyond its business operations, reaching out to all its stakeholders: clients, principals, suppliers, employees, contractors and society as a whole.

 

At Quimidroga, we work to achieve sustainable development, which is why we support the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, while contributing to the achievement of the objectives of the Green Pact.

  4. Request for CO2 footprint reduction strategies from transport companies and optimisation of trucks and order routes to achieve distribution with sustainable criteria
  5. Encourage travel-free meetings by implementing the spirit of teleworking

  4. Implementation of a platform as a booking tool in the Q11 warehouse for the management of dry cargo transport

  3. Adherence to the Port of Barcelona’s Sustainability Plan
  4. Collaboration with Repsol in the homologation of an innovative PP compound.
  5. Annual emergency drill in the Q11 warehouse, in collaboration with the Barcelona Fire Brigade and the Barcelona Port Authority.
  6. Cooperation with the Consorci de la Zona Franca in the “Feel de ZF Power” programme to guide female students in GCSEs and A-levels years towards STEM careers – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
